Ritchart, Barbara age 86, passed away at Parmly Life Pointes, Chisago City on March 7, 2010, formerly of Phoenix, AZ and Bloomington/Burnsville, MN. Barbara was born July 17, 1923. Preceded in death by husband, Stuart Taylor Ritchart; sister, Frenda “Penny” Mistele; and grandson, Matthew Kottke. Survived by children, Jackie (Jim) Kottke, Jane (Greg) Stratton, and Charles (Sharon) Ritchart; grandchildren, Jeremy, Cari, Eric, Emily and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Vanessa, James, Dillon, Jenna, and Lilah Bea; great-great-granddaughter, Serenity, and soon to come great- great-grandson; sister, Verna Gerke of Phoenix, AZ; sister-in-laws, Marion Hansen of Tomah, WI, and Marian Ritchart of California; and brother- in-law, Donald (Lucille) Ritchart of Boulder, CO. Evelyn Ione age 101 of Edina.

Born January 7, 1909 to Celia and Clinton B. Sutton in Southern Illinois, died March 6, 2010 in Minneapolis, MN. Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey O. Allison, Jr. and two sons, John Douglas and Donald Edward. She is survived by two sons, Clinton and Harvey (Sue), 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and daughter-in-law Donna Allison.

Evelyn spent her teen years in the St. Louis area during the Roaring Twenties and enjoyed dancing the Charleston on Mississippi River Boats. She raised her two oldest sons, Clinton and John, in Chicago and her two youngest sons, Harv and Don, in Edina, MN. She was an accomplished golfer and bridge player; she was a great cook and a long time fan of the Minnesota Vikings. Evelyn served as president of the Edina Newcomers Club and was an active member of Linden Hills United Church of Christ. She sang in the church choir and helped with many dinners and other events. Evelyn lived her 101 plus years of life to the fullest devoting herself to family and friends. She will be remembered for her positive outlook on life, her smile, her love of children, her kindness to all and her love of fun.
Funeral Service Friday March 19th, 11 am at Linden Hills United Church of Christ, 4200 Upton Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN. Interment Lakewood Cemetery. Visitation, Thursday, March 18th 5-7 pm at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel 5801 Lyndale Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN and 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Age 85 of Minneapolis on March 4th, 2010. Bill was born in Minneapolis, MN on Aprill 22, 1924 to Omer and Juliette Bliss. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Joan; daughter and son-in-law, Anna-Maria and Thomas Juntunen; grandchildren, Jared, Emily, Lauren and Solveig. Bill was a longtime employee of Augsburg Fortress Publishing. In retirement, Bill enjoyed playing the piano at the YMCA and at Ebenezer. He sang in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church Choir for 54 years. Memorial service ~ SUNDAY, MARCH 21, 2010 at 4 PM ~ BETHLEHEM LUTHERAN CHURCH ~ 4100 Lyndale Avenue South. Private Interment ~ Lakewood Cemetery.
