Preceded in death by parents, John and Katherine Poferl; sisters, Carol Merfeld and Norma Poferl. Survived by loving wife of 58 years, Frances; children, Mark (Janice), David (Merry), Jedd, Lori, Timothy (Judy) and Susan; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, John (Liz), Bettie Edel and Lee; along with many other relatives. Survived by wife of 38 years, Arlien; brother, Donald (Geny) Miller; nieces and nephews, Carol (Rex) Hines, Thomas (Joelle) Miller, Mary (Jim) Bergman, Joan (Sigi) Miller, Greg Miller and Lori Miller; along with other relatives, friends and former students. Willard spent his years teaching in Cadott WI, Wisconsin Dells WI and Virginia MN. In WWII, he served in communications in CBI, Theatre of War and earned a unit Presidential Citation Medal.
