Edward William Culnane, age 89 of Richfield, passed away May 15, 2009. Ed was a devoted husband and loving father; a proud WWII Marine Veteran who enlisted on December 2, 1941; 5 days before Pearl Harbor, and subsequently a Sales Representative for M&M’s Candy. There was nothing more important to him than being a good family man and provider. Preceded in death by parents, Edward & Margaret. Marvin L. Folkestad age 75 of Prior Lake, formerly of Bloomington, passed away on May 10, 2009. Preceded in death by parents, Clarence & Minnie and infant sister, Delores. Survived by wife, Darlene; children, Lori (Richard) Dysterheft (Shakopee,MN), Todd (Brenda) Folkestad (Owatonna, MN) , Eric (Lori) Folkestad (Zionsville, IN) , Kari (Vincent) Rokke (Fargo, ND) and Jodi (Bradley) Anderson (Savage, MN); and 11 grandchildren. He graduated from Ellendale High School (Minnesota), graduated from University of Northern Iowa and got his Masters in Greeley, CO. Marvin taught elementary school for eight years in Iowa and 40 years in Bloomington. He was also very involved in the Richfield/ Bloomington Credit Union and an active member of the Born Again Jocks (BAJ’s) bowling and golfing leagues. He was known for his love of singing, family, friends and gift of gab. He will be missed greatly by family and all that knew him.
