Friday, August 28th, 2009Mary Catherine Webber (Wheelan); Died peacefully at home on August 28, 2009. Preceded in death by her parents Mary and William J., and siblings William H. and Thais Thul. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Paul (Vince); children, Paul (Christel Ogren); Mary Lou (Ron Lamberton); and, Anne (Tim Casey); and grandchildren, Catherine and Paul Webber, Ronnie, Katie and Anne Lamberton, and Sean and Tommy Casey. Mary Kay was born in Rock Island, IL on October 2, 1929. She graduated from The Villa De Chantal and the University of Illinois. Mary and Paul made their home in Edina and were members of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for over 50 years. She shared countless volunteer hours at the school and parish. She also enjoyed her affiliations with Delta Gamma sorority, The League of Catholic Women, Adoption Option, St. Thomas Academy Mother’s Club, The Convent of the Visitation and the Minneapolis Women’s Club. One of her favorite places on earth was their cottage in Three Lakes, WI where she shared over 75 summers with her family and friends. Mary’s life will be celebrated with a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, September 1 at 11 am at Our Lady of Grace Church, 5051 Eden Ave. Edina. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Monday August 31, 4 to 7 pm AT CHURCH and one hour prior to Mass at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Fr. Robert T. Kuzniar, Joseph Francis of Bloomington, passed away at home Friday, August 28, 2009 surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 87, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Preceded in death by his daughter, Judy Lentz; his parents; and brothers, Stanley and Edward. Survived by his beloved wife, Peg of 63 years; son, Tom (Ruth); daughter, Maryclare (David) Greif; son-in-law, Dick Lentz; grandchildren, Andy Lentz, Mike (Katie), Joe D. and Tim Kuzniar, Joe E. and Charlie Greif. He is also survived by his sisters, Helen Kitt and Dorothy Kuzniar; niece and nephews. Joe served in the Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He continued in the Naval Reserve, retiring after 37 years. Joe graduated from the University of Minnesota and the University of St. Thomas. He was employed by the St. Paul School system as a teacher and administrator, retiring after 30 years of faithful service. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, September 1 at 11 AM with visitation 1 hour prior at church only, St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, 901 E. 90th St., Bloomington. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to be given to the Angel Foundation and Fairview Hospice.
