Delaney, John J. “Jack” age 89 was a life long resident of Edina and was the last surviving child of James and Catherine Delaney’s 7 children; also preceded in death by wife, Margaret. Survived by wife, Evalyn Pahl Delaney; children, Fran (Ken) McIntosh, Cavie (Mike) Fischer, John (Dianna), Tim (Judy) and Terry (Molly); 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. Evalyn’s family, Sharron (Dennis) Fyten, Janice (Jim) Dols, Nancy Jo (Doug) Martens, Denise (Gary) Jones, their children and grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Patrick, 6820 St. Patrick’s Lane, Edina. Interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation, Sunday 3-6 PM at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel, 9947 Lyndale Ave. So. and 1 hour prior to mass at church Monday. Memorials preferred to St. Joseph’s Home for Children.
