Gene Brownrigg

Eugene J. “Gene” Brownrigg, age 79, of Bloomington, a faithful servant of the Lord, died peacefully at home on March 4, 2010 after a short battle with cancer. Gene was a Korean War Air Force Veteran. Preceded in death by parents, Rowe and Blanche Brownrigg; brother, Jack Brownrigg and sister, Pat Connolly. Survived by wife of 50 years, Trudy; children, Joe (Kathie) Brownrigg, Anne Kern and Tom Brownrigg; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and brother, Jerry. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM, Tuesday, March 9th at The Church of St. Bonaventure, 901 E. 90th St., Bloomington. Visitation Monday 5-8PM at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel, 9947 Lyndale Ave. S. and one hour prior to Mass at Church. Prayer service Monday. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to St. Vincent DePaul, Loaves & Fishes or St. Bonaventure.
